š£ Easter Workout⦠But Make It Fun (And Actually Doable)

Iāll be honestā¦

Easter isnāt usually the time people think about workouts.
Itās long weekends. Family. Chocolate (letās not pretend otherwise š ).
And Iām all for that.
But something I always say to my clients is this:
You donāt need to āstop everythingā just because life gets a little fuller.
Sometimes⦠you just adjust.
And sometimes, you make it a little more fun.
š° This Weekā¦
I actually mixed things up a bit.
Same movements⦠but with a little Easter twist.
Not because we needĀ to make everything themedā¦but because it lightens the mood, gets people smiling, and takes the pressure off.
And you know what?
People move better when theyāre enjoying it.
š§ŗ Letās Call It⦠The Easter Circuit
Here are a few we played around with ā and yes, I made the names up on the spot š

š§ŗ Basket Lifts (Upright Rows)
Think picking up your Easter basket.
Pull weights up towards your chest
Elbows lead the way
Keep it controlled
Simple⦠but you feel it straight away.

š° Bunny Hops (Low Impact or Step Option)
Now before you panic ā no crazy jumping required.
Small step hops or side steps
Light, quick movement
Or just a step-tap if needed
Everyone did their own version ā and thatās exactly the point.

š„ Egg Pick-Ups (Squat to Reach)
This one actually mimics real life more than people realise.
Squat down
Reach forward (like grabbing an egg)
Stand tall
Great for legs, balance, and everyday movement.

š Autumn Reach & Press
A soft overhead press with intention.
Light weights
Press overhead
Add a little stretch at the top
Nice for posture and opening through the body.

š£ Egg Balance Holds
This one is funā¦
Stand on one leg
Hold and stabilise
Try not to ādrop your eggā š
Balance, core, focus ā all in one.
š Why This Actually Matters
It might sound a bit playful (and it is)ā¦but thereās something deeper going on here.
When movement feels:
Less serious
Less intimidating
More enjoyable

People show up.
They relax. They try things. They keep coming back.
And thatās where consistency is built.
Not through pressure but through experience.
šæ You Donāt Need a Full Reset
This is the part I always come back to.

You donāt need to:
āStart again Mondayā āWork it offā āBe stricter next weekā
You just keep going.
Maybe your routine looks a little different. Maybe itās shorter. Maybe itās a walk instead of a full workout.
But you stay connected to it.
Thatās what makes the difference over time.
